DURATION 2 hour paddle includes full instruction, boards, wetsuits & buoyancy aids.
The SUP paddle starts at Eccleston Ferry Car Park (used in times gone by as the ferry crossing for Eaton Hall Estate staff).
We paddle where the River meanders around the Crook of Dee and through the 10,000 acre Eaton Estate owned by the Duke of Westminster. On towards the ornate grade 1 listed Iron Bridge designed by Thomas Telford and engineered by William Hazeldine in 1824, which links the village of Aldford to the Duke’s estate.
We return at this half way point in front of the grade 2 listed Ferry House and take in the spectacular scenery of the pink budded Himalayan Balsam and gain sightings of swans, herons, moor-heads, kingfishers and deer.
The aim of the SUP paddle is to reach the Iron Bridge but we will adapt trips to client’s abilities.
